NASA and the BIG CHECK!
NetGain Motors, Inc. received a grant from NASA to explore the use of super-capacitors under terrestrial conditions.
The supercapacitor resembles a regular capacitor with the exception
that it offers very high capacitance in a small package. Energy
storage is by means of static charge rather than of an electro-chemical
process that is inherent to the battery.
These supercapacitors were manufactured in Russia. Each cell is rated at 400 Volts, 2 Farads, and 165,00 Joules
