• Responsible for complete operation of company.
• Increased sales from approximately $100,000 in 1984 to almost $25M in 1988. Company did ~$40Mil in 1989 and is now publicly traded.
• Became the largest Dysan/Xidex/CDC media wholesaler in the world within 2 two years of assuming responsibility.
• Led the company in becoming the second largest distributor of AT&T computer products in the world.
• Became Midwest distributor for C.Itoh digital products.
• Had UNIX SV ported to the INTEL 8088/8086.
• Developed EDNET prototype in conjunction with the Illinois State Board of Education and was retained by the Office for Vocational and Career Education to provide various services.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:

• While in retirement I have been actively researching an artificial intelligence model utilizing fractal geometry, and chaos theory to develop an "Inference Associative Memory" that functions as a learning engine.
• Since January of 1990, I have been developing a Remote UNIX Administration System.
• I have presented numerous computer security talks for Bell Laboratories, AT&T, IBM, Emory University and Georgia Tech.
• I have an in-depth knowledge of various UNIX Operating Systems and factors that effect their performance and security.
• I have a working knowledge of the languages, 'C', PL/1, COBOL, FORTRAN, RPG, IBM BAL, BASIC, AWK, as well as procedural languages such as, MVS JCL, TSS Procdefs, MVS/OASIS EXEC, Mashey Shell, Bourne Shell, and Korn Shell, various derivatives, and PERL.
• From a developer standpoint, I am familiar with UNIX, LINUX, MVS, TSO, TSS, MS/DOS, OASIS, and CP/M.
• Throughout my career at Bell Laboratories I taught "Out Of Hours" (OOH), and In Hours Continuing Education Program (INCEP) courses in various computer related subjects. During 1996-1998 I taught various UNIX courses for Lucent Academy.
