Q. Can I replace a generac 33hp dual shafted engine with a HyPer 9 motor?

A.

A. Research on the 33HP Generac gas engine in the Steiner 430 Max tractor shows that this engine produces torque of ~86Nm @ 2,500RPM. If you need to maintain this power continuously, it fits the power of our HyPer 9 System with a battery pack between 80V - 120V battery. Our dual shaft version of this motor is no longer available. So if you require a PTO off each end, the motor shaft would need to couple to an auxiliary or jack shaft. Please see the following links for more information on our HyPer 9 System. Q. Is there any controller capable of delivering 900A to the Micro 886 motor?

A. We do not offer an inverter capable of 900Arms, but they do exist. We just began stocking a "Micro 880MV" which is a higher voltage, lower Arms version of the 880. Running this motor with the X48 at 48V 600Arms, the peak torque of ~120Nm would begin to drop at around ~1,000RPM.

We only have curves at 80V, but you can see the comparison here below.

Micro 886 @900Arms:

Micro 886MV @650Arms:

We have not run one motor off two inverters. If the battery pack can be configured for >80V 750A, the X1 750A inverter would be able to provide maximum power to the motor.
